Our standards

Every product on this shelf passed the same questions. Most products we looked at did not.

One way

Each product has a clear job and a goal it serves. If we cannot say in one sentence why you would buy it, it does not get listed. We would rather have a short shelf than a busy one.

Doses you can trust

We favour brands that publish full labels: named ingredients, real doses, no proprietary-blend fog. Where a product is a single ingredient — creatine monohydrate, say — we say so plainly, because that is the point of it.

Brands that have earned it

Anchor brands carry the shelf because they have track records, not because they paid for placement. Nobody pays for placement here. The long tail earns its slots the same way: a specific product that does a specific job better than the bigger names.

Honest about what things are not

A weight gainer is the wrong tool if you can already eat enough. A pre-workout will not fix sleep. Our field notes say who a product is for — and who it is not for. If that costs us a sale, fine.

Built for habit

Performance is a long walk. We stock formats and sizes that help you stay consistent, because consistency beats intensity over any distance worth covering.

Accessible by design

The same standard applies to the shop itself. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA: every page works with a keyboard alone, images carry text descriptions, and contrast is measured rather than guessed.
